Question:
Based on my tow vehicle and trailer I measure a drop of only 1/8” so I’m thinking I need a hitch with a drop of 2” and a ball with a rise of 2” but I wanted to run that by you guys to see if there was a better solution for an 1/8” drop. Thanks so much.

I applaud your creativity and that'll work but we can simplify it for you as well. Since you have only 1/8" drop you can just use a ball mount with no drop (or rise) so you don't have to put together multiple parts:
- Curt Hollow Shank 2-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 2" and 2-5/16" Balls # C45002
This is a straight ball mount with no rise or drop, and since it only has 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls if you need a 1-7/8" ball instead you could use the tri-ball mount # C62KR. Along with either ball mount, the only other thing you'd need is something to secure them to your hitch, either Hitch Lock # e98882 or Pin and Clip # 37201074.
