Question:

Upon purchase of used 09 Jeep, was told by previous owner that it has what appear to be MX Base plates already installed. I need the Draw Bars or Front arms?? that slide in and pin to the frame mounted base plates. 1. Are just the arms avaliable for purchase? or do I need another entire kit?2. Will a cross bar be required?3. Verify the RM-520 is compatible with MX arm, correct?Thank you

Replacement draw bars are available for Roadmaster base plate kits, but since the draw bars and base plates are manufactured together as a pair, you will need some specific information for your base plate to ensure you receive replacement draw bars that will work. For replacement arms, you can use part # RM-ARMS, but you will want to click on the installation details to fill out the bracket order form prior to ordering. Once you completed the form, you can contact our customer service department at 1-800-298-8924 to place the order.

The Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, # RM-520, is compatible with the MX base plates and a crossbar is not required. If you are purchasing the Falcon 2 tow bar new, then you can simply remove the quick disconnect bar assembly from the arms of the tow bar. The arms will attach directly to the base plate draw bars.
