What are those flat looking pieces in this kit?

The flat-looking "bars" that come with the Blue Ox Accessory Kit for Tow Bars with 2" Hitch Receivers # BLU64TR are an anti-rattle kit that clamps down on the hitch receiver and shank of your tow bar. This just helps to keep everything from moving around as much as possible.
Just to get a clearer picture of what the kit is, it can be found by itself as the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer # BLU85QR, but the one in the kit is for a 2" hitch instead of a 3" hitch like the one I just referenced.
