Base Plate Options For 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave For Flat Towing Behind Motorhome

I have a Jeep Gladiator Mojave 2023 that I want to set up to flat tow behind my Motorhome. What base plate options do I have being Mojave? I really like the roadmaster version that doesn’t have the bar connecting between the frame rails as it is least visible when disconnected, but doesn’t appear that fits Mojave. I am open to any brand as I don’t have tow bars yet.

There are a couple options for base plates on your 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, which are the Roadmaster you mentioned, as well as Blue Ox. Here are the part numbers for both:
- Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM77VR
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU53FR
To be frank, the difference between these two base plates is essentially nil. For most people it comes down to what tow bar they have, but since you don't have a tow bar yet, go with the Roadmaster. Reason for that is their tow bars are top-notch in both quality and usability, and if it were my Jeep, it's exactly what I'd get. For the tow bar, wiring, and braking system, the best options are the following, and please note the wiring will be different depending on if your Gladiator has the optional ParkSense rear park assist:
- Tow Bar: Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-676
- Wiring Kit - WITHOUT ParkSense: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-152
