Should the Thule Yepp Maxx Child Bike Seat Move When Stopping

Question:
I installed this part for use with a Thule Yepp rack mounted child-seat. The child seat slides backwards and forwards when using, I was wondering if there is a way to lock the seat in place so the seat does not slide forward when stopping.

The Thule Yepp Maxi Easyfit Child Bike Seat is actually supposed to be mounted into an EasyFit window where it would get dropped in and locked into place and should not move at all.
My guess is that your rack does not have an EasyFit window, so you'd need the Easyfit Mounting Adapter for Thule Yepp Maxi Child Bike Seat # TH12020409 as well.
From here, you'd lower the seat into the window and secure it into place using the rotating knob. Once the red indicator tab is visible, you'll know you're all set and secure.
