Crossbar Size for Fitting the James Baroud and Autohome Rooftop Tent Mount Brackets

Question:

What size load bars can these clamps accommodate? Im looking to use this with Thule load bars that are 4 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall.

The James Baroud and Autohome Rooftop Tent Mount Brackets # FR67HJ are designed for the Front Runner which measure 3-1/2" wide x 1" thick in a rectangular shape so the bars will be too large for this clamp system.

If you're willing to switch to a different rack system I recommend the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-58 for your 2011 Nissan Titan as it uses crossbars that are more standardized and measure 3" wide x 1-1/2" thick.

The only other thing you can do is see if the rooftop tent you're wanting to use has a T-Slot mounting kit for crossbars. Just be mindful that a T-Slot kit will only work if your TracRac is a newer design that has Thule branding. If it's an older design then the T-Slot won't be compatible with accessories like a rooftop tent.
