Question:

I want to put air lift 5000 air bags in my 2023 Ram 3500. What kit do you recommend with a remote controled compressor? Also what PSI will I need to fill the bags to for my camper it is just shy of 12K

For your 2023 Ram 2500 I recommend the Air lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL88289. This is the Loadlifter Ultimate kit which features internal jounce bumpers. These add stability and also will act as a failsafe in the event of air pressure loss.

For a compressor I recommend the Air Lift Wireless compressor # AL25980EZ. This is a wireless compressor that can be controlled via the Air lift smartphone app, or with the included remote. Both the compressor and the air bags have a max rating of 100 PSI. I cannot say with certainty what PSI you will need to inflate to. There is only one way to find out. You will fill the bags to the minimum 5 PSI, you will then hitch up your trailer. Next you will inflate the bags until the distance between the wheel well and tire is equal on both the front and back of your truck.
