Recommended Towing Mirrors for a 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500
Updated 09/12/2023 | Published 09/11/2023 >
Question:
My main concern is being able to see down the side of my camper when backing up, in particular seeing the wheels. Will this mirror be able to give me that kind of view? My current mirrors on my 2023 Silverado dont allow me to see the wheels. They are not tow mirrors. I ordered the truck with them but they were unable to provide those at the time so I got regular mirrors. Also, will this mirror interfere with the cameras that on the bottom side of my mirror?

Yes, they can be adjusted to face in. The purpose of the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors item # LO54FR is that it allows you to see your blind spots on both sides while towing. The only way you'll be able to see your trailer's wheels when backing is if you manually tilt the mirror to face your trailer not to see your blind spot.
I have linked a video below that does a decent job showing you what your vision will be looking back into these mirrors. The video shows them set up to see your blind spot.
The Longview Mirrors item # LO54FR will not interfere with your 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500's cameras or the lane detection system. They have a cut out on the bottom side to accommodate the camera on the bottom of your mirror.
