Question:

I own a 2022 Chevy Silverado. Which of the following mirrors are better for my truck LO54FR CIP38MR

Hey Greg,

Both the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors # LO54FR and CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors # CIP38MR would be a fit for your 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500, but I personally prefer the Longview # LO54FR. Longview added in cutouts so that their mirrors will accommodate built in lights and cameras in your mirrors. I'm also not really a fan of how the CIPA mirrors just a have wedge to press against the back side of the mirror to clamp on. I much rather prefer the clip included with the Longview mirrors that connects to the side mirror housing and can then be tightened down for a strong grip on the mirror. The stronger the grip the less vibration you'll experience while on the road with these mirrors.
