Recommeneded Spare Tire Carrier for a 2008 Chevrolet Dually

Question:

Looking for a bumper mount spare holder that can hold an 8 lug for a 2008 Chevy dually. The bumper is a solid 3/8 steel that is 7 inches in height. The idea would be to mount it through the bumper rather than around due to its robustness. There are some bumper mounts but would they hold the 8 lug dually?

If I'm reading this correctly, you'd like to mount the spare tire carrier into your bumper? If that's what you're looking for, there is not going to be anything available. Every spare tire carrier we carry either gets mounted into a stake pocket, bolts around the bumper/trailer frame, or replaces an existing tire carrier like what you'd see on the back of Jeeps.

With that being said, if you were to take let's say the Brophy Rigid Mount Spare Tire Carrier for 4" or 4-1/2" RV or Mini-Motorhome Bumpers # BR56VR and run some long bolts through the mounting holes in place of the u-bolts into your bumper, that could work but nothing we carry is going to be made to do that.
