Question:
Hello, I’m new to camping and I’m not sure what weight distribution with sway control I should buy. I need advice. I’m going to be towing a forest river 2024 rockwood geo pro 19fd with a 2023 Santa Cruz AWD. One other thing I have a question on is on switching to a tankless water heater. I need recommendations on both things if possible. Thank you

I can certainly point you in the right direction. For a weight distribution hitch, it all comes down to the campers tongue weight. According to the online owners manual, a 2024 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 19FD has a hitch weigh of 409 lbs. For that I recommend the Blue Ox Track Pro # BLU36FR. This is made for campers with a tongue weight between 200 and 600 lbs. So this will be perfect for your camper. Blue Ox makes a great quality hitch. They are very easy to assemble and use. You will see immediate improvements to your ride quality. It will do a great job of preventing sway, and actively correcting sway if it does happen. This is made for a 2" hitch receiver, which I assume your 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz AWD already has if it is equipped with the tow package. If you need a hitch we have the # C23WR.
For a tankless water heater, I recommend the Furrion # FR98SR. Furrion makes a very solid, durable water heater that will give you hot water on demand. Now the online owners manual does not specify exactly what kind of water heater you camper is equipped with. Generally the tankless heaters are smaller than the tanked heaters. For example the # FR98SR is 12-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 19-1/4" deep. If the cutout on your camper is larger than this, some modification will be required in order to install a smaller heater. This also comes with a 16" x 16" door. We want to make sure the opening is covered. There is an 18" x 18" door available if needed.
I have linked a few install/review videos below if you want to take a look.
