Replacement Hardware for Yakima SlimShady Awnings High or Low Mount

Question:

Will the heavy nuts and cap screws work as replacements for the Yakima slim shady alternative high/low mounting brackets? I believe the heavy-duty nuts are m8, but I’m not sure about the cap screw length.

The correct replacement hardware for the Mounting Brackets for Yakima SlimShady Awnings - High or Low Mount # Y84AR is the following:

- Replacement Hardware # Y84EV

The kit you referenced is for the Yakima ladder racks so it has different hardware than what you're needing.
