I am getting a 2024 Ford F-250 with the factory prep package and an 8 foot bed. What 5th wheel hitch do you recommend for it?

To add a 5th wheel hitch to your 2024 Ford F-250, I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3300 for a 20,000 lbs capacity or item # BWRVK3305 for a 25,000 lbs capacity. These 5th wheel hitches will mount directly to the puck system for easy installation and removal.
I really like B&W's hitches because of the reliability and the Companion's 1" thick dual jaws will give you a 360-degree jaw to kingpin contact. This system minimizes the chucking, jarring and noise that can occur when towing a 5th wheel trailer. This not only provides a more secure connection but also a quieter more comfortable towing experience.

Don't forget your lube plate. The Lube Plate for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 10" Diameter item # 16721 will prevent scratches on your fifth-wheel's skid plate and ease trailer hookup.
