Question:
Hello, I currently have new toy hauler and I’m trying to figure out the brakes. Has two 5200lbs axles, would a pair of 3500lbs brakes work pr axle? So a total of four 3500lbs brakes. Thank you

Expert Reply:
Since you have 5,200 lb axles you will need 5,200 lb brake assemblies which we have a set for that with the part # AKEBRK-6. Not only is this the correct rating but a lower capacity assembly like 3,500 won't fit as the diameter would be too small.
