Can Thule Hullavator Install on ProBar that Sticks Past Feet 15 inches
Updated 06/19/2023 | Published 06/17/2023 >
Question:
I have Thule Pro bars on my Ford F150 bed cap. They extend 15 inches from the foot. Can I install a Thule Hullavator on them? I see Thule recommends 4-8 inches. Does that mean you should not go beyond 8 inches? What is the max distance that the Hullavator should be from the foot?

Expert Reply:
A Thule Hullavator part # TH898 can install on a ProBar that is extended out 15 inches past the feet of the rack. If you can slide the bars more to one side of the roof so that you can get it between 4 and 8 inches you'll be best off as this would prevent the carrier from putting undue stress on the roof rack components.
