Recommended Bike Rack for Two Electra 2.0XP Step Thru Bikes

Question:

Does your C89jr work with Electra 2.0XP step thru bikes? The bike wheel size is 20” x 3” and it have fenders. Thanks

I have a great bike rack that will work with your Electra 2.0XP step thru bikes but you don't want to use the Curt Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes item # C89JR because it will damage your fenders.

Instead, I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack item # S94FR. It has a weight capacity of 70 lbs per bike and is rated for use on all motor vehicles, fifth wheels, motorhomes, travel trailers, and flat towed vehicles. This is a frame mounted bike rack that completely avoids your Electra's fenders.

Due to the step thru frames you will want to use the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar item # 64005 to properly secure your bikes. The ratcheting arm hooks will securely clamp onto to the frame adapter bars and have keyed-alike locks to deter theft of your bikes and the rack as well.

If your tires are over 3" wide then you'll also need the Fat Tire Adapter Kit for Swagman item # S64679.
