Question:

Hello, We have a class B sprinter van with a spare tire mounted on the drivers side rear cargo door. It appears we will need an extension to clear the spare tire for the Hollywood Destination E bike rack. Do you sell an extension bar? Will the fold down feature allow access to the rear of the van? Or do we need to consider a swing away bar? Using both will be rather long will the rack bounce around a lot with this set up? Thank you.

For what you are wanting from the Hollywood Racks Destination E-Bike Rack # HLY66ZR your best option would be a pivot adapter like the Yakima part # Y02483 as it will give you the additional extension you are wanting as well as gives ability for the rack to swing out and away for rear door clearance like you are wanting. An extender won't allow your rear door style to still open.
