Question:

This part says it is a replacement for Maxxair vents. I have a 4500K and it looks like this unit has 1 lift point but my Maxxair lid has 2. It also looks like there are molded nubs on the list to move the existing metal angle slides to this lid. Is that the case? Also, it appears that I cant use the metal rod to attach at the hinge point. Does that mean I have to attach using the side arms. Basically, what Maxxair fans is this a replacement for? and can I get the installation instructions for this lid Item # A10-3376? I do not want to spend amlost $100 for the model-specific replacement if this generic lid will work with my Maxxaire 4500K Thanks

The Replacement Lid # A10-3376 you're looking at is a generic option made by Dometic and is designed to fit vents with that center lift arm. Since your MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent # MA00-04500K has a different lift design I recommend sticking with the lid designed for your roof vent, part # MA10A40009K.

There aren't any instructions for the Replacement Lid # A10-3376 since it comes with 4 bolts you use to install the mounting bracket. Aside from that it's just a matter of "making it work" since it's a universal fit.
