Is Saris EX Bike Rack A Confirmed Fit For A 2020 Subaru Forester?

When I contacted Saris, they assured me the bones ex would fit my subaru forester, but di dnot answer about the guardian, as both these bike racks were listed as compatible on my car 2020 subaru forester So I purchased the bones, which is significantly more $$ than the guardian and Im trying to assemble it. There are not really clear instructions as to where the lower feet should rest, so Im not sure what it should look like on my car. Any photos of this on my car model?? Both models say I need hatch huggers for the side straps, but the instructions are non existent and the only videos show how to install them to replace the upper hooks, not the side hooks. Do you have any videos that can show how to install these for the side hooks? Andis the guardian do-able with my forester?

Sorry to hear about your issues!
The Saris Bones EX # SA803 and # SAR83FR are both confirmed fits for your 2020 Subaru Forester, but we have not had a chance to install either of these racks on a vehicle similar to yours, so I do not have a video to share.
I included a video of the # SA3035 being installed to hopefully help as well.
Unfortunately the instructions Saris gives are pretty bad in the sense that they're very generic, so patience is key here, I know it's not the most fun thing but you'll get it!
Last I can confirm that the Guardian is not a fit for your vehicle.
