Question:
When I originally bought this carrier I had a truck with a 2inch receiver hitch. I now own a truck with a 2-1/2inch receiver that has a 2inch . The standard threaded hitch pin included with the carrier will no longer work. Is there a threaded hitch pin available for a 2-1/2inch receiver?

Expert Reply:
We do not have a longer threaded hitch pin option that'll work with the Flint Hill Goods 22" x 60" Cargo Carrier # FHG49ZR however what you could do is use the Roadmaster Hitch Pin and Clip for 2" or 2-1/2" Hitch - 5/8" Diameter x 4" Span # RM-910034 which will give you an additional 1-3/8" of pin length in conjunction with the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches # RM-062.
This will ensure that your Flint Hill Goods 22" x 60" Cargo Carrier # FHG49ZR will stay secured in your receiver since the threaded hitch pin isn't going to be used.
