How Easily Can Parts Be Found For Hydrastar Disc Brake Kit # HSE7K-T1 In Event Of a Breakdown?

Question:

Does the hydrastar disc conversion use common rotors/pads calipers? This could be a player if one goes out on the road and you need a replacement. Or are they proprietary to hydrastar? Thanks.

While the individual components of the Hydrastar Disc Brake Kit # HSE7K-T1 are not commonly found at most automotive stores they are available from several of their distributors nationwide such as TexTrail and Redneck. There are several more smaller dealers who Hydrastar also deals with and you can use their site to find the closest location if you should ever have a break down. The good news is with the Disc style brakes they are much stronger than drums and have less issues over their life. Also the pads can be seen with the wheels still on the trailer so you can always check the wear easily while you are on a trip.
