Can Integrated Brake Controller of 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 Work with Hydrastar Actuator for Keystone

Question:
Hi, I am looking at changing my drums on my Montana 5th wheel. My question has more to do with the actuator. I tow with a 2024 GMC 3500 and have heard of some compatibility issues. Before I lay out 3 grand can you enlighten me please. Thank you

Hey Kevin, so this is a very valid question but the integrated brake controller of your 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 has a hydraulic mode which allows it to be compatible with EOH actuators like the Hydrastar kit part # HSE7K-T1 that you are interested in so this will work great for you. Older integrated brake controllers didn't have a hydraulic mode or they were pretty unreliable with them but nowadays the current ones are solid.
