2016 jeep wrangler jku Rubicon. Will this wiring harness work with our jeep?

The Blue Ox Tow Bar Wiring Kit # BLU79FR is only designed for specific JL models of the Jeep Wrangler so it would not be a fit for your Wrangler. The only plug-in style kit we have confirmed to fit is the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56200, although I'm not a fan of plug-in style connectors as a lot of people tend to have issues down the line and there isn't any troubleshooting or fixing you can do with these style wire harnesses.

Instead I recommend a splice-in kit like the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. If there was ever an issue with this wiring harness you could replace just the issue-related part and not have to rip out the entire thing. This would also provide you with a 6-pole socket so that you could run a charge line, like part # RM-156-25, to keep your Wrangler's battery charged while you tow.
