Hello, thank you for your helpful website. I own a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Minivan and am interested in purchasing a bike rack to hold 2 adult bikes and 2 kids bikes. Im interested in the Thule Hitching Post option. I understand I will also need to purchase a 2 hitch. I have two questions: 1 Will I require any other items to safely transport 4 bikes on my minivan? 2 Can you please advise on a hitch that will be compatible with my minivan and the Thule rack Im considering buying? Thank you kindly for your help.

Thanks! The best hitch for a 2021 Pacifica Hybrid is going to be the etrailer Hitch item # e98903. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that will give you the most capacity for hauling a bike rack. It is custom fit and bolts to your minivan with included hardware.

I have linked an installation video below and attached a couple of pictures so you can see what this hitch looks like once installed.

You won't need any additional parts to use the Thule Hitching Post Pro item # TH934XTR with this hitch.

If you ever want to tow you will also need a wiring harness item # TK96FR and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
