Hello, I have a 2018 3500 mega cab that came with a 30K factory Mopar hitch. Is there a sliding rail kit for this or do I need to get a new hitch?

Expert Reply:
The Curt S25 Slider for A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # C43DR would be compatible with the head of your M30 hitch and provide 12" of travel for additional turning clearance. The downside is that you'll be lowering your overall towing capacity to 25k so you'll want to ensure it's still enough to handle the weight of the trailer.
This slider base also requires base rails so if you have the OEM puck system in the bed then you'll also need the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch # C29BR.
