INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Caution!
Install tire chains in a safe place. Park vehicle away from traffic. Set parking brake and turn off engine.
Remove chains from bag. Lay chains out flat and remove any tangles or twists.
Drape tire chains over the drive axle tire of the vehicle with curve side of cross chain hooks facing away from the tire side wall. Side chains with hooks to the inside of the tire, side chains with lever fastener or cams to the outside of the tire.
Position the first cross chain under the tire as much as possible keeping the cross chain centered to the tire.
Move vehicle over the tire chain until second cross chain passes under the tire. Reset parking brake and turn off engine.
Connect the inside hook to the opposite end of inside side chain.
Connect the outside hook or lever fastener to the opposite end of the outside side chain.
Make chain as tight as possible by adjusting inside and outside fasteners as required. If chains are equipped with CAM tighteners, tighten as many as possible.
Secure unused portion of tail to side chain or cut off. Loose tails will damage vehicle.
Travel a short distance and re-tighten chains if needed. Install adjusters if your chains are not equipped with CAM tighteners.
WARNING:
Do not exceed 30MPH while using tire chains on vehicle. Tire chains can break during use. Should your tire chains break, immediately stop in a safe area. Repair, replace or remove a broken cross chain. Continued travel with a broken tire chain can cause damage to vehicle. Manufacturer and seller will not be held responsible for any vehicle damage.
