Updated 09/11/2024 | Published 04/17/2023

Question:

Im trying to find a replacement hub and bearing for a really old unmarked horse trailer. I pulled the old hub and found the brand new destination and the number 909602 and 909502. Its 6 studs by 5.5. Any ideas?

I'd be happy to walk you through how to determine which replacement hub and bearings will fit your old horse trailer, but those numbers are not cross referencing to anything.

What you'll need to do is remove one of the hubs and measure the three points of the spindle shown below with digital calipers like # PTW80157.

Once you have these measurements let me know and I'd be happy to check what options we have.

@Jerry Hey, Unfortunately you have what's referred to as an old short hub, which doesn't exist any more. Why are you replacing the hub? You're going to need to rebuild your current hub, or you're looking at an axle replacement.
