Question:

I have a BLACK SERIES HQ15 with 12in electric brakes and gross weight of 7000lbs. I would like to convert to Kodiak disc brakes. Please you advise a complete conversion kit, everything I would need.

To convert the 7k trailer axles of your trailer to Kodiak disc brakes the first thing you'd need is the correct hub/rotors which for that the part # KOD75FR would be a great option if your current hubs have 9/16 inch diameter wheel studs. If instead they are 1/2 inch you'd want the # KOD58FR.

For an actuator the Hydrastar options are the best way to go as we have found they are the most reliable and quickest reacting. So for that we have the kit part # HS381-9067. This also comes with all of the electronics/wiring you'd need so that covers a lot of the install components. Last thing you'll need is a brake line kit which for that you'd want the # HS496-151 since your Black Series HQ15 is a single axle trailer.
