1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Sendel 15-inch-by-six-inch Series T09 black machined aluminum trailer wheel with the 6 on 5-1/2-inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rustproof. This is the Sendel Series T09, which is a six-spoke design, you can see. Has a glassy black finish to it.
And then if you look at the face of the spokes, they have a machine finish and even on the lip. Gives a nice shine to the wheel. Now, the front and the back of the wheel are clear coated. It is a high-quality wheel. It does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specification and the SAE J1204 standards.
Now, if you notice, it does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do want to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole right here 'cause when you do install your cap, it'll go through this center hole. The pilot hole diameter is 3.75 inches. A few measurements on the diameter, which will be measured inside to inside.
So, if we take our tape measure and we go straight across, you can see there's your 15-inch diameter. The width on the wheel, same way, it'll be inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. So, there's six inches for the width. Now, the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 6 on 5/12-inch bolt pattern, and if you want to measure that on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, like in this case, six, it's pretty easy because if you notice, the lug holes are directly across from each other. So, when you go to measure it, just pick any hole.
Let's say this one. Measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the one right across from it. So, on this wheel, it'll measure 6 on 5 1/2 inches. This does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 3,200 pounds. But that's gonna do it for our look at the Sendel 15-inch-by-six-inch Series T09 black machined aluminum trailer wheel with the 6 on 5 1/2-inch bolt pattern.

They were well packaged and arrived undamaged, except the boxes, and are a match to what my camper already had. Tires are mounted and they are ready to be installed after I freshly pack my wheel bearings.
