Question:
I see this light has what appears to be two holes near the base. One on the side and one on the bottom. What is the purpose of the holes? Should they be left open or seal them to avoid water intrusion in my camper?

The LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # 328-K-52 has 2 holes which allow water or moisture which can build up inside the lens to escape and not fill the light. The light can be placed horizontally or vertically which is why you see the 2 sets of drain holes in the lens. The lens will also specify which side/end should be placed on top. You do not want to seal these holes as then if moisture does build up inside the lens it would not be able to escape.
