Can I use a hitch receiver extension with the Yakima Y36FR?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, you can use a hitch extender with the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack item # Y36FR. I have a couple of options listed below depending on whether or not you want a swing away function. Like all hitch extenders both of these parts will reduce your Jeep Wrangler's tongue weight capacity by 50% so you will want to make sure your hitch has enough capacity for your bikes and the 60 lbs Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack item # Y36FR.
