What Style of 7-Way Plug Does the Electric Jack w/ Footplate and 7-Way Plug Use
Updated 05/04/2024 | Published 03/27/2023 >
Question:
Is there information on which of the 7 way pins is actually providing the power to the Jack. Id like to install a female plug on my trailer and use the house batteries to run the jack. So, I would need to know what pin is Positive, which negative, and ground. Thanks.

The Electric Jack w/ Footplate and 7-Way Plug # EJ-3527-BBX uses a 7-way RV-style plug. I have included a diagram that shows the pin-out for RV style 7-way plugs. This will show you what each pin does. I have also listed the functions below and linked to a help article that covers this.
Green: Tail/running lights
Yellow: Reverse Lights
Brown: Right turn/brake light
White: Ground wire
Blue: Brake controller output
Black: Battery hot lead
Red: Left turn/brake light

(Facepalm) forgot to unplug the 7-pin from tow vehicle…. Need to repair the plug: Which wire is hot and which is ground? Wires on unit are black and red. Thanks!
