Yes, you will definitely need the PWM Filter # VGR64VR to properly power your Furrion Vision S RV Camera System # FOS43TASF. In 2020 GM switched to PWM wiring so your 2023 will send a constant 12 volts to the camera, which typically leads to a lot of connectivity issues.

There is the Furrion adapter # FR87PR as well, but with GM's towing technology it's going to keep sending you an error on the in-dash monitor saying you aren't connected to the trailer or that you need check your running lights, which can be super annoying.

If I were to choose I would definitely go with the # VGR64VR for a one-time fix that you'll never have to worry about.

I bought a GM back up camera for our travel trailer and it has never worked. Our truck is a 2021 Silverado 2500 . Would the filter you suggested help us?

@Mark Hey Mark, yes, the 2021 and newer Chevy/GMC trucks have PWM wiring so the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems # VGR64VR will work to prevent those camera dropouts and strengthen the signal.
