Can The HD Crossbars for the Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer Be Raised?

Question:

I need to raise the HD bars on the upper level of my Yakima Easy Rider a few inches so I can slide my Hobie PA 12 underneath on the Big Catch saddles. Is there a way to raise those HD bars? Thanks!

The HD Bars # Y01159 for the Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer # Y08129 currently only have the one adapter included with the trailer for mounting. You may be able to have new mounts custom machined to clamp around the tube and raise the height for the crossbars. This would have to be a custom part as Yakima does not manufacture another mount at this time.

Hi, I'm not able to see when the original question was asked regarding raising the crossbars on the easy rider trailer. I wanted to check if there has been any update to this. Are there any new adapters or solutions to raise the top crossbars? Thank you!

@Mike Hey Mike that answer was originally from about two years ago but I'm afraid nothing has changed since then. There is no adapter for raising the top crossbars.
