In order to determine the correct replacement lid for your 1996 Dutchman Thor, you are going to need to measure your actual vent. The most common size vents are 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" so you'll want to verify that yours is a standard vent.
The next step is going to be determining the type of hinge your current vent has. There are 4 different types, 4-point, 3-point, plastic continuous, and metal continuous (shown below).
Once you have the hinge identified, and have verified that your roof vent is a standard 14"x14" vent, the only thing left to do is to pick your replacement lid.
Typically replacement lids are offered in a black or white color, so you'll just want to choose your preference.
However, if you are able to determine what model roof vent you currently have we can get you a replacement even easier without all the measuring and identifying.
For instance, if you happen to have the Ventline Ventadome roof vent models V2092, V2094, V2119, or V2128, then you could easily use the Replacement Dome Assembly for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # BVD0449-A03 as a direct replacement.
