Question:
Just purchased the Bulletproof MD204. The box and the Bulletproof website both say this model has a 4inch . However, it actually has a 6.25inch as specified on the etrailer website. Wondering why the descepancy. Thanks

BulletProof Hitches does not follow the standard measurement like everyone else, which is why you're seeing a difference on the # MD204. This has caused quite a bit of confusion over time.
Rise is the distance from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform when the ball mount is oriented for greater coupler height. Drop is the distance from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform when the ball mount is oriented for lower coupler height. The 6-1/4" measurement you got is accurate. Unfortunately, BulletProof lists all of them incorrectly so if you aren't aware and buy it directly from them or elsewhere you may get the wrong size.
