Question:

Im having a Hydrostar 1600psi put on my 2020 Jayco Pinnicale to operate disk brakes being installed with Lippert 8K axles, the Hydrostar is the only option for those axles. The write up on the Hydrostar does not show it is compatible with the 2019 F350 controller. The Hydrostar adapter only shows it is good through 2017 Fords. You list no other adapter for the Fords after 2017. Is the text data outdated? Does the adapter work with the most recent Fords GMC. Or? Does the controller in my 2019 work with the Hydrastar without adapter. My F350 DOES have a computer option for Electric Over Hydrolic with the OEM controller. The axles are ordered and are in transport. A certified RV Tech is d doing the work for me but we can not get answers to this question, they are all over the place. Thank You. Fulltime RVing.

This is a really good question, but the short answer is that the Ford OEM brake controller of your 2019 Ford F-350 is compatible with the Hydrastar actuators like # HBA16. The chart you found where it says only up to 2017 hasn't been updated since...about 2017 haha.

You'd need to select electric over hydraulic on the display of you truck and it will work great with the Hydrostar without any adapters needed.
