Is the HBA-CAM Adapter Needed for a 2023 Ford F-350

Question:

I have a 2023 f350. The in cab brake controller doesn’t seem to work because I can’t hear the hydra star. Do the new trucks need the hba cam to work? I have a HBA-10 1000psi. Serial number is 311142

Expert Reply:

Assuming you're using a factory brake controller, you are likely going to need the # HBA-CAM to use your Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Drum Brakes # HBA-10 with your 2023 Ford F-350.

Hydrastar was unable to verify this 100 percent, so they recommend that you take your trailer to a vacant parking lot or similar place to test it out.

If I bought a new HBA 10 would it work with it or would I still need a hba cam
