How long does it take to install a hitch on a 2023 grand Cherokee L with the tow package?

The trailer hitch installation times on a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L will vary by hitch type and experience level. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C97JR is what I recommend as it offers a bolt-on fit with no drilling required. It's not hard to install but will take a bit of time since the rear bumper has to come off. That said, not to worry as we have a video which shows you how to do this from start to finish and I have attached that for you below. The installation time we estimate to be around two hours but this will vary by experience level.

Please note, if you'll be towing then you'll also need a few other items like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C27BR and Curt Towing Starter Kit part # C45534.
