Question:

2017 Ford F150 XLT w/Max Tow Package. Not sure if I need the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II or III. The outside dimension of the receiver on the factory installed hitch is 2.5”. The inside dimension to receive hitches is 2.0” what is the correct Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer for me to purchase?

It sounds like your 2017 F-150 has a 2" hitch. You will want the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II item # BX88224. The inner measurement where the ball mount or accessory installs is what you want to go off of.

The Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II item # BX88225 you were looking at is for 2-1/2" hitches so it would be too big for your truck.
