Why Is My Lippert Solera Smart Arm RV Awning Blinking Yellow And Will Not Operate?

Question:

We have the dolors smart arm and it is blinking yellow the last couple days it would only work with the inside controller but today nothing works? Thankfully the awning is in but we are here for two more weeks and would like to be able to use the awning. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like your Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning - 20' Wide # LC517517 has a level 2 fault.

This has come up before and the directed fix for this is to reset the touchpad.

To do this, you'll need to preform the following sequence:

-Press the touchpad extend button,

-Press the touchpad retract button,

-Hold the touchpad unlock button for 10 seconds.

-Press the touchpad light button,

-Press the touchpad wind button.

Once this unlock procedure is done, the unlock LED will remain on solid. The touchpad buttons functions until the mode times out or if you lock the touchpad is locked by pressing the lock button.

Did the instructions to reset the green blinking unlock light. No luck My 2020 coachmen adrenaline toyhauler

@Jt Have you checked you need to checked all of the wiring from the switch to make sure that everything is connected securely and nothing is damaged?

@BryceD Yes, checked the wiring, took the plug off, it has silicone in it and around all wires, it was working fine, until storm came yesterday and it retracted itself, then gave a flashing green unlock light. My controller has no battery's. It's hard wired in. After leaving it unplugged for 5 minutes and then plugging it back up, still has green light flashing. Any suggestions.

@Jt I'd honestly suggest reaching out to Lippert at this point. Since it's their system they're going to have a better insight on what else to look for besides checking the basics.
