These aluminum scissor steps create a steady path into your camper no matter where you park. The 4-step design adjusts to an entry height of 31"–38" and holds up to 350 lbs without flexing. Even on uneven ground, the steps stay solid and feel like real stairs instead of a shaky ladder.
Each 20" wide x 6" deep tread has a built-in SureGrip surface that grips your shoes, so you don’t slip even when it’s wet. Glow-in-the-dark tape lights up each step for up to 10 hours after just 5 minutes of light exposure—no wiring or batteries needed. It makes nighttime entry safer for everyone, including pets and kids.
Made from aircraft-grade aluminum with stainless steel hinges, these steps resist rust and stand up to years of weather and travel. The hinges are bolted together so you can easily remove or add a step later if your setup changes. They stay strong and smooth through frequent use.

Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the TorkLift GlowStep camper scissor steps. And this particular model is a four-step model in aluminum and it's 20 inches wide on the steps and rated at 350 pounds. So getting into it, folks, these pull-out steps make it super, super easy to get in and out of your towable or your truck bed camper. The nice scissor design lets you manually collapse and fold them up for travel.
And it's so simple. Just fold 'em up. You've even got a little set screw back here on the backside. Whenever you got 'em fold up enough, you could put that in there and they're not going to get loose on you. You can see the stainless steel hinges on the side.
They're bolted together. It makes it easy to add or remove one if you wanna remove one or replace a single step. And I'll fold these back out real quick. Okay, and they are made in the US. You're doing their entry height of 31 to 38 inches tall.
And again, the steps are 20 inches wide by six inches deep. And again, rated at 350 pounds. And they are made of an aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel construction. And like I mentioned about the stainless steel hinges as well. So very nice feature.
Now coming in from the top, you can kind of see they've got the built-in tread. That's gonna give you nice footing. So if it's wet, damp, snow, that kind of stuff, that'll give you some extra tread. And if you notice these little pieces of green tape, those are what they call their glow tape. So they can glow in the dark up to 10 hours with only five minutes of light exposure. I'll shut the overhead lights off. Hopefully you can kind of see that. And from a different angle, hopefully you can kind of see those lit up there. And I'll turn the overhead lights back on. So again, folks, you're gonna get everything here that you see before me, the steps. You're also gonna get a set of hardware. Lemme go back from above. I'll show you a little better. So I left it in the bag just 'cause there's a lot of bolts and nuts here and I'm kind of mocked up here on the step. So I wanna point out real quick, these little teeth kind of looking washers. Those are the only thing different than this image here, and that's what you're gonna get. So those star kinda washers, I was just mentioning, that dig in and kind of help hold everything tight, that's the only addition to everything here on the screen that you should get as well. So installing it, mounting everything should be pretty simple for you. So again, these are the TorkLift GlowStep camper scissor steps. Again, a four-step option. I'm Steven. This step has been perfect for our self-built campulance! It shows perfectly on the existing bumper/step and has been a game changer for us and our dogs. We did a 12,000 mile trip last fall and this step held up great! It's pricey, but absolutely worth it.

These are very high quality steps! I mounted them to a large aluminum storage box that I have on a receiver style hitch plate The box and step combo make it really nice for getting up and into my camper. The nice thing about these steps is that you can purchase addition mounts and place them at other locations and use the same steps. They also fold and stow very neatly. I purchased the pin lock assy.... but if you have the room they are easy to remove and store elsewhere.
I give this product 4 stars.
Adding a side man door to my truck to rv conversion required a set of special folding steps.

have gone up and down, in and out hundreds of times carrying various construction related loads.

My camper came with the mounting bracket already attached so once I received my collapsible steps, I just inserted the two pins and boom they were ready to go very sturdy. Easy to apply could not be more satisfied. The only thing that these should have are adjustable feet on the end. I was not aware that this unit did not come with adjustable feet Other than that this would score 11 out of 10
Great steps. We got them because I slipped on ice at night on our former sort of janky set up and ended up with a broken arm. Wanted something with more stability. Also wanted something easy to install and that needed little or no maintenance. These steps are it....but see below for the reason I gave them a 4 and not a 5 rating. Installed on a Four Wheel Camper Fleet. Installation was pretty straight forward, but every application will differ at least a little I would think. Really like the glow in the dark tape strip on each step. They are still working and still attached after a year. The one thing I don't like is the process you have to follow to attach them. Our dog rides in the camper so we have to attach the steps multiple times per day. You attach the steps to the mounting bar....sort of a rectangle with one of the long sides missing....using a 1/4 pin on each side. It works...and it doesn't take that long.....but it's alot of fumbling around to get it done. And it's clumsy at best for one person to do it by themselves. Torklift needs to do a better, simpler more elegant design. One other thing....unless you always are on flat level ground....make sure you get the optional leg levelers...one for each side. They will help you avoid that broken arm!!!

Having the stability of the steps is well worth the hassle. My set up requires me to mount and dismount the steps, which is quite straightforward taking only minutes.
Shipping sucks hit 6 different states before got delivered and when first let it was in 6 hrs from me . The box it came in looked like it was drug behind a truck open it up no hardware steps work fine but never order from here again.
Incredible steps on our crappy camper. install/uninstall is super easy. we travel with them tucked away. Even on uneven ground and at various heights the steps work well. So much better than our step ladder the dogs would always move around on us.

The steps came very quickly from trailer. The truck camper I just bought already had a bracket for the glowstep so there really wasn't any instal needed. The 2 pins fit perfect in the bracket holes and the steps pull out very easily. The 4 steps are perfect height for my camper.
Great Steps for my FWC Hawk, Fairly user friendly to install once I decided an installation plan.I mounted them below the door entry using the provided Lag Bolts with SikaFlex 221 applied to the bolts and to the mounting bracket. I plan to see how that holds up and might go back and through bolt the bracket if needed! I might also add the Landing Pad Feet after seeing how it does off-road on uneven terrain.
