There are a few different tools you can use to cut the 4" hole in the skid plate on your 2009 Toyota Tundra. This hole is required so you will be able to access the oil filter after installation of the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31198 on your Tundra. You can use a 4" Hole Saw from our kit # PT34VR, body panel trim saw or a small jig saw to cut out the hole. I recommend removing the panel to prevent any damage to your vehicle when cutting out the hole.
