Question:
Hello, looking for the correct the WDS for a 2023 E-PRO 20FBS. Max TT weight is 4400lbs. Dry is 3517lbs, MFG hitch weight is 400lbs. I was thinking I need a 8000/800lbs for this trailer based on 4400x15 = 660#s. Thank you.

You're correct on needing a 8,000 pound GTW weight distribution hitch. When using a weight distribution hitch you need your tongue weight to be exactly in the middle of the range of the system, so it will help with the sway and not cause more. If you are any lower or any higher will be more dangerous than not having a weight distribution hitch at all. Out of all the weight distribution systems that we offer I recommend The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800. I like this system over the others because it has integrated 2-point sway control that will limit the side to side movement, and also has no lift chains which eliminates unwanted movement. This WDH has a tongue weight between 400-800 pounds so your 2023 E-PRO 28FBS will be perfect when using this system.
Everything is included with this WDH but the 2-5/16 inch ball # EQ91-00-6100. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach back out to me anytime and I will be more than happy to further assist you in your towing endeavors.
