Hi, will the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller work for my 2017 Amercan dream coach 45a.? Also is my coach wired for this unit?

Your 2017 American Coach American Dream Coach 45A will have came from the manufacturer with a fully functioning 7-way trailer connector. This is what is needed to power and operate the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180. You will be able to use a Test Light # PTW2993 to ensure your 7-way does not have an issues with its functions ensuring the Curt Echo will not have any issues. I have linked a 7-way diagram below to show you the functions of the 7-way and allow you to test when they have power. If you have any issues with no power be sure to check your owners manual for any possible blown fuses and their position in the fuse panel.

We do have the new Curt Echo In-Line Wireless Brake Controller # C79DR which will eliminate the need to remove the device when not towing. It also does not hang out of the 7-way but instead installs behind the 7-way for a easier connection when you need to tow your trailer with electric brakes.
