What Dual Hitch Adapter Can I Add To My Pace Arrow RV To Tow Vehicle And Haul Cargo Carrier
Published 11/15/2022 >
Question:
Will I exceed my tongue weight on Pace Arrow RV if I add a dual hitch to pull my 3200lbs toad and still add a cargo rack? The cargo rack would carry about 250lbs of weight.

Without knowing what your tongue weight is for your Pace Arrow RV I would not be able to tell you what exactly you can and can't tow. The Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-4 has a tongue weight up to 400 pounds, using this adapter will also reduce your tongue weight capacity by 50%. For example if your tongue weight is 500 pounds it will automatically turn into 250 pounds. If your tongue weight is still high enough after the tongue weight cut you will be able to use the cargo carrier. The Toad should not add much tongue weight to your setup, if any at all. Although, you will still want to be under half of the capacity of your trailer hitch. This includes the weight of the cargo carrier and the cargo.
If you could reach back out to me with what your Pace Arrow Rv's tongue weight and what your towed vehicle is. I could possibly suggest a trailer hitch that can carry a cargo carrier as well.
