Which Instructions Are Used Installing a Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay in a Ford F-150 w/ Neutral Tow

Question:

I have installed the brake light kit HM-56009 on my 2018 Ford F-150 and learned that I also needed the Brake light relay kit RM-88400. As Im ready to install the relay, I noted in the instructions that I should use instructions B if the vehicle has a Neutral Tow Kit. My 2018 F-150 has a factory neutral tow capability already included with the vehicle, and not an after-market type kit. Do I go ahead and still use the A instructions? I have a trip coming up soon, and I cant afford to mess up my truck.

When installing the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 in your 2018 Ford f-150 with neutral tow kit, you will want to use Instructions "B" for the installation. Roadmaster states that if you have a Ford vehicle with a neutral tow kit, then you need to follow instructions "B" or else the neutral tow kit will not disengage the transmission for towing. This would be the factory neutral tow kit, not an after market kit.
