Can 4-Flat Plug Be Cut Off Of Blue Ox Plug-In Tow Bar Wiring Kit BLU92HR

Question:

On the towed vehicle 2018 F-150 4x4, Halogen lights Can I cut the four way flat plug off the BLU92HR, and wire it into a towed vehicle mounted 7-Blade outlet? The intention is to wire in the Towed Vehicle Charge Lineinch BLU44ER to the 7-Blade outlet, and use a single 7-blade cable from Coach to towed vehicle providing run/brake/turn and charge line. It seems like this should work? Am I missing something?

Yes, you can cut the 4-way plug off the # BLU92HR and wire it to a 6-pin or 7-pin plug. People actually do this all the time for exactly the reason you stated. They want a plug-in lighting connection and want to also run a charge line. So, you were on the right track and not missing anything at all.
