is the LC689052 Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump a direct replacement for the 2088-422-174. Will it work with the same plumbing

The Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump part # LC689052 is our best replacement option for a Shurflow RV Fresh Water Pump 2088-422-174. The specs are very similar (2.9 GPM Vs. 3.0 GPM) so this will be an excellent choice. In regards to specs alone it would be a direct replacement but you will need to attach a few wires and possibly drill new holes for mounting but nothing too crazy or that you wouldn't have to do for any other pump. The new pump comes with fittings which require 1/2" hoses so as long as this is what you have there will be no extra plumbing required.
