Question:
Hi etrailer.com, There is a post regarding Echo App and GPS compatibility and running simultaneously on the 2015 Toyota Tundra. Etrailer confirmed that it would work perfectly with Curt Echo #51180. Do the Curt Echo #51180 and its App work for my 2007 Lexus RX350 in the same manner so I can run GPS and Echo App at the same time? I am considering the wireless brake controller Curt #C27JR under the dashboard in lieu of Echo #C51180 attached to the 7-pin connector for security reasons. I have a couple of questions: 1. Can I still run Echo App and GPS together with Curt #C27JR? 2. Do I need a #C51515 adapter for my 2007 Lexus RX 350? 3. My Vancouver hitch shop told me to use Curt #C51190. Is #C51190 and #C27JR the same? If not, which one works better for the 2007 Lexus RX 350? Thanks, TY

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Echo Mobile brake controller part # C51180 is a fit for your 2007 Lexus RX 350 that has a 7-way and can run off same phone that is also using a GPS. The two programs do not interfere with each other. This is also true with the under dash Echo part # C27JR which does require the install harness part # C51515 that you mentioned as well.
Our part # C27JR is the same as the 51190 that you mentioned as well.
